Camp House Cuisine: Grassfed Beef Stroganoff

Another less-than-30-minute meal! Our family loves this! It’s inspired from one of my favorite West Texas women who used to feed us this growing up. Nothing like West Texas tradition and South Texas beef. Y’all cook it up and let us know what you think!

Grassfed Beef Stroganoff

Grassfed Beef Stroganoff

2 lb. grassfed cube steak (tenderized round steak), cut into strips
2 T. flour
Salt and pepper
3 T. oil
1/2 cup diced onion
1 8 oz. container sour cream
1 10 oz. can cream of mushroom soup
1 16 oz. bag of egg noodles (cooked)

Dust the strips of cube steak in flour. Season with salt and pepper. Saute with onion in oil over medium heat until cooked and the outside is brown and a little crispy. Drain any oil. Simply add the sour cream, soup and egg noodles. Mix and serve. Easy and so delicious! Feeds 6.
